2013 Trek Rumblefish Elite (Gary Fisher Collection)

Big wheels with big travel equals big fun. Welcome to Trek's Rumblefish Elite. It's got 120mm of travel, making this a fully capable aluminum trail bike with all the monster-truck benefits of big wheels. But the real deal comes in the form of a tight wheelbase along with the well-proven G2 29er geometry. Fox steps it up, too, with a custom DRCV-equipped fork and shock to make charging through rough stuff a piece of cake. Meanwhile, Trek's ABP rear end keeps the rear end active while you're braking and their E2 tapered head tube stiffens up the front end. Plus, you get a 10-speed Shimano SLX/XT drivetrain, Bontrager wheels and SLX discs. Get ready to rumble.

    Comments:

I ride on and off trails - the Bike performs and handles well for my built (230 lbs 6 ft) rider. I am older and was looking for a good solid built bike that would allow me to grow in the sport of Mt Biking. This bike as down that and more. I am very pleased with all the features and quality - Trek and Gary Fisher Did A Great Job - Sad to see it leaving the TREK line

          Comments:

This bike is incredible!!! Even the toughest trails cant beat this beast, the geometry and suspension is remarkable for a 29er - this bike even jumps well. You get excellent components for the price compared to other brands. The bike is a little heavy compared to the Superfly, but the Rumblefish far exceeds it on tougher trails. It climbs as well as it descends and is truly an outstanding all-mountain bike.
