2013 Trek MT 60

Trek's MT 60 is prepared to take your youngster anywhere! It boasts Trek's light, great-riding Alpha aluminum frame and a bump-busting SR suspension fork to smooth every ride. Plus, this sweet bike has aluminum wheels, a 6-speed drivetrain and powerful linear-pull brakes which all make it easier to climb higher and ride farther. And, it can also adapt as your child grows thanks to an adjustable stem and Trek's clever Dialed crank, which features high/low pedal-mounting holes.

      Comments:

Purchased for my 7 year old son. He was growing out of his 2nd beginner level single speed. I wanted to get him a geared bike, that is lightweight and easy to use. The ramp up was less than a day and after a week, he was cruising up hills and around the park with ease, speed and off road. Now we are doing single track mountain bike trails. We cannot tackle big hills, would like to upgrade to a bike with more gear selection, and possibly lighter all around we can get into some intermediate plus/advanced level riding. He is only 7.5

I purchased this bike for my son who is 13. He found it to be the best fit for him. We shopped other local spots before finding our best price here. Thanks LBS.

This is my son's very first bike. It's taken quite a beating and still looks great. We ride about a mile to the park and are working up to a 4 mile trip. He shifts the gears with ease.
