2014 Trek 3700 Disc

Trek's 3700 Disc is a comfortable, versatile ride that's at home on trails and tarmac. It sports Trek's nimble Silver Series aluminum frame and a plush 100mm-travel RST suspension fork for a light, lively ride and confidence over rocks, roots, potholes—you name it. You'll enjoy easy pedaling and complete control thanks to the quick-shifting 24-speed drivetrain, knobby tires and sure-stopping mechanical-disc brakes. Plus, you'll love the comfy Bontrager seat.

      Comments:

This bike is well worth every penny. I use this bike almost every day on the trails. I also use it to get around the city sometimes. Before I got this bike many told me to get the Marlin. I was thinking of getting it but then was surprised to hear that you may not install a kick-stand. I feel that even for us mountain bikers need a kick stand. The Trek 3700 is the way to go.

            Comments:

I bought this bike after contemplating between the 3500 disc, and the 3700 disc. After doing some research and comparing things between the two, I decided on this model from what I read online (mainly single wall rim vs. double, general shifter/derailer upgrades) and also the Trek sale was a nice incentive. I haven't had my own bike for a few years as I was growing, spending time with other interests, but now that I'm back into it I'm really happy with the bike. The components all seem pretty good.. Definitely going to be more than enough for my needs. I look forward to putting it through the paces this summer as I plan to use biking mainly for fitness/endurance. Oh and in person the bike looks awesome. Really nice color combo!
