Wearing the yellow jersey in the final week of the 2010 Tour de France, Andy Schleck was in position to finally defeat longtime nemesis Alberto Contador. On Stage 15, climbing the Port de Bales, Schleck went on the attack, hoping to gain time that would be necessary to hold off Contador in the final time trial.
But shortly after launching - with a delayed response from Contador - Schleck's chain jammed between the frame and the chainring. As he tried to get it back on the chainring, he slowed to a stop - and Contador blasted past and then kept on going. Schleck eventually got moving again, but the time he lost cost him both the yellow jersey and a shot at victory in Paris.
Afterward, his jersey gone, Schleck produced one of the more memorable soundbites in recent cycling history: "My stomach is full of anger and I want to take my revenge." As it turned out, "revenge" consisted of leading Contador up the remaining climbs and failing to take any time back. But that doesn't mean it wasn't an awesome quote, which is why it's immortalized on The Original, which gave Stomach of Anger its start.
Stomach of Anger T-shirts are printed on 100 percent organic cotton and feature screenprinted graphics. They offer a semi-form fit, so if you prefer a looser cut, go up one size.
