don't waste your money on this

About Me

Pros

    Cons

    • Stripped Down 2011 7000
    • No kickstand
    • No Quick Rease Front Tire
    • Seat Post Is Too Stiff
    • No Adjusrable Handlebar

    Best Uses

    • None

    Comments:

I ride roughly 60-100 miles a week. Was in an accident and had a replacement for the 7000 shipped to me. This bike had all the best features of the 7000 stripped out. They toik away the the quick release front tire the adjustable handlebar stem, the shock absorbing seatpost and even the kickstand. So what do you get in return? Nothing really....okay disapointment. If you want a stock bike with nothing particularly nice about it...then throw away $400 of your hard earned money on this piece of junk.

The only negative is the seat, too hard. After my first long ride I replaced it with a softer, larger seat. Now good to go. Love this bike.

      Comments:

I purchase a Verve 1 fully aware it had no suspension, and I still developed a slight saddle soar after 50 miles in two days. Other than that, the bike zips down the bike paths. It also turns like a deer and I really enjoy riding this sexy beast!

      Comments:

I had the bike 3 weeks and have rode it 75 miles on mostly road and sidewalk areas. It's appearance and performance is great, I had a guy tell how much he loves his this weekend. I have no complaints and would re-buy this bike again.

        Best Uses

        • Cruising
        • Exercise

        Comments:

After a week of riding, I like the bike. I use it early in the morning before sunrise on country streets, so I do not need to go 25 mph for 20 miles. The seat is comfortable. My only dislike of the bike is changing gears from second to third. When my hands are sweaty, it's difficult. Overall, the bike does its job and gets my heart pumping.

        Comments:

This is my first 'real' bike. I am very satisfied with it. This bike is all about comfort, It's about slowing down and enjoying the ride not covering the distance. My wife has an fx so i wish it was a little faster so i could keep a faster pace. I am not a fan of the twist shift.. I shift a lot living In an area with a lot of hills and would prefer the shifters on the fx over the twist shift.. other than those few minor deals I love this bike. Make sure you take the time to get sized correctly as that will make all the difference. I am 5'9 short legs with a long torso I can pedal twice as far with a proper fitted bike
