      Comments:

its not bad at all for the price. I got one 700c wheels 32 spokes and 27 speeds. the cassette that came with the bike got a lot of torke in any speed I found that suden burst of speed the cassette seems to have more that idss you don't get to the point where you peddle like krazy and run out of more speed. it feels like there are a two or 3 range of speed in in each gear that goes well beyond the speed range in the next gear. try to get the exact same cassette when you replace it its awsom.

        Comments:

I was riding an older mountain bike and this Trek is so much lighter and faster. I am working with bicycle shop on getting the bike set up for me; needing to adjust seat and handle bars, but a great ride. Rode 26 miles last night and other than the handles needing to be raised, a great ride.

        Comments:

I have aftermarket brake pads and skinny tires and a tighter rear cluster and the bike is like a flat bar racer. A gel seat made for all day comfort. But all these came as I wore out original componants. Fun to ride up beside a drop bar person and comment on how beautiful their bike is and then drop them. Will continue to be a great bike for indeterminate years yet. Though I lust after the green 7.3 this year. Hmmmmmm

Love this bike! Have had a mountain bike for years, and decided to make a switch. Amazing how much more efficient this bike is. Bike will coast an amazing distance. Seat is a little too hard, but that is an easy fix. You can't go wrong with this bike.

        Comments:

I bought this bike primarily for commuting. Even after slapping on fenders and a rack on the back, this bike is still light, which is especially nice if you have a hilly commute. Additionally, it is very responsive and agile, which is a benefit if you are starting and stopping with traffic. Also, the aluminum frame and internal cable routing make it a nice low-maintainence choice for all weather commuting.

        Comments:

I have always purchased from discount stores usually under $200. Had to give up running due surgery so biking was the way to exercise outdoors again. Thanks to the experts at the bike shop, was able to find a great fitness hybrid bike that fits me and my needs perfectly. The 7.3 is comfortable, easy to handle, and fast. Never had clicker gear shift but am very impressed with ease of shifting. Haven't done serious hills yet but imagine it will work well.

I transitioned from a mountain bike to the FX 7.3 and I love it! I wish I would have made the change a long time ago. The ride is smooth, transitions well and I love how lightweight it is. I would recommend this bike to anyone looking for a great hybrid bike.
