2015 Trek Pure Lowstep - Women's

Spin across town in comfort and style with Trek's Pure Lowstep. With its upright riding position and foot-forward designed aluminum frame, the Pure lets you place your feet on the ground for safety and confidence. And, getting on and off couldn't be easier with the low frame you can step right over. It's also one of the easiest bikes to ride thanks to the at-the-ready controls, upright handlebars, cushy seat and the 7-speed drivetrain that flattens the climbs. Plus, the powerful linear-pull brakes give you total confidence.

      Comments:

I'm almost 70. Overweight and can't get my leg over a male bike bar anymore so hence my choice of a women's model. I have a Trek Navigator at my other home and really like it. Alas, that model is not made anymore, but the Pure Lowstep is pretty close. Very comfortable, and easy to ride.

I haven't been on a bike in 14 years, and went into Richardson BikeMart just to check out this bike in particular. Mike was extremely helpful, and asked me what it was I was looking for in a bike to make sure it was a good fit. We tried a couple bikes, and this one was so comfortable and easy to ride, I loved it! I bought it Fri, picked it up Sat, it's now Wed and not a day has gone by that I wasn't on my bike!! Great for leisurely rides with my kids, and also for solo trips as an additional form of exercise. Best purchase I have made in a long time, and I will cherish this bike for years to come!!!

My husband and I decided to start riding bikes to get outside and enjoy the outdoors and get a little exercise at the same time. We do not like to ride on the busy roads so we will be doing our riding at parks or bike/walk only paths.

I'm in my mid 50s. I got this for exercise and love every minute of it! The bike rides smooth as silk and could not ask for a better fit. I picked the orange bike and throughly love every ride I have taken on it so far. It makes going anywhere in the neighborhood easy, fun and quick. I would highly recommend this bike to anyone especially someone that is not real steady like me but loves a good bike.

I bought this bike for my 50th birthday gift to myself. I've been injured and out of shape for the last few years and haven't been on a bicycle for longer than I can remember. I was a little afraid to get on a bike. I was worried about balance, and stress on my knees, back, neck and wrists. This bike is wonderful! I sit upright which takes all pressure off my wrists, neck, and back. I can place my feet on the ground when stopped yet due to the placement of the pedals can stretch my legs out appropriately while pedaling. I'm beginning to use the bike to commute to the store and other close places in town. It's easier that I thought and I feel like a kid again! 50 years young!

I love this bike. I originally had thought I wanted a beach cruiser but tried this bike due to the sales rep suggestion. I got it home and went for a 30 minute ride and have ridden twice daily since purchasing the bike. I can't wait for my bike ride time to come around...I enjoy riding it so much. My husband has a road bike with 18 gears and can't keep up with me and now he wants one too. Mine is the pretty pink and I added black fenders and a black wire removable basket.

I get emotional talking about this bike. I never thought I would ride again. Bad knees forced me to stop running 6 years ago, now I am back!! This is an amazing bike. I gave it to myself for my 66th birthday this month, and it is tricked out and blinged up! Love it, love it, love it.

                    Comments:

I have some ankle and knee issues due to a previous motor vehicle accident. I spoke with Dan at Mr. B's on 4th. Ave and he helped me make a fantastic decision on the Trek Pure. The bike is so comfortable to ride! I went out and rode 8 miles as soon as I got it home. My ankle and knee felt great, no pain at all compared to my previous ride. Dan is very knowledgeable, and really compared the pros and cons of various comfort bikes like Streamway, Townie, and the Trek Pure. With the great choice of the Trek Pure, now I am looking forward to my daily bike ride without the pain. I highly recommend this bike to anyone with any ankle or knee injury. It is so smooth and easy to ride, you will find your daily mileage really escalating!
