    Comments:

I upgraded from a Trek 3900 to the EX6 to bridge the gap bewteen my hardtail and full suspension needs. The EX6 has surpassed my expetations when it comes to quality. The only thing lacking is the braking. After a few longer rides the brakes tend to howl and get mushy. Will be upgrading soon.

    Comments:

I only weigh 150lb so this is all I need to take 6ft drops with plush landing. But getting up a hill is a work out due to its weight. Stock tires work great on hard dry dirt but in wet dirt and mud condition it's like biking on ice. Changed to maxxis minon on front and high roller on back.

          Comments:

Simply, the Trek Fuel EX 6 is the best bike I have ever owned, and has been my dream bike for quite a while. I mountain bike quite a lot here locally within Colorado, and I cannot be more satisfied. The bike itself is VERY "beefy" in regards to its frame and overall construction, and the APB system used to balance during braking really helps in overall riding and downhill. The suspension is great, and one truly gets what he or she pays for with this mountain bike - the back shock itself (FOX FLOAT RP2) is worth quite a bit and performs very well no matter your body weight. Although I am smaller, it still handles very well and is controllable. In fact, I have a friend that spent quite a bit of money on a downhill bike he had made custom from a vendor at a dirt-biking/BMX/downhill convention, spending almost $1800 dollars. When we went on a ride for one of the first times at a local set of single tracks, we decided to quickly swap bikes for the fun of it. He absolutely LOVED the breaking, handling, and cushioning of this bike as the brakes are not too stiff, but just right when adjusted as so, the seat is very comfortable, and, ultimately, the high-grade components are not match for anything within the price range. A DEFINITE buy for ALL.

          Comments:

I was skeptical at first but riding this bike sold me on full suspension. The first time out I was disappointed only to discover that I did not have the suspension set up for my riding style. After a few adjustments and a trip back to the trail the bike worked flawlessly. Climbs awesome and I feel like I have total control on fast downhill rides. Only complaint that I have is I wish I had a bigger budget for better components. I am totally satisfied with everything about my Fuel EX6

Shopped around a bit until i made up my mind that the Red Shield Warranty along with Treks lifetime frame warranty far exceeded any other bike out there. I am really happy with my bike and i know that i am covered if something was to break down. I ride 2-3 a week...i was told to give it about a 90 day break in period but due to the trails in OC...that break in period took about 30 days!

I ride 16-20 miles a day, every day. Have owned this bike for 3 years and it has been great! I ride 2/3 gravel roads and thru the desert ( I'm in Arizona) and the other third city streets. After 3 yrs I killed the derailer but have no other problems.. my only complaint is frequent flat tires, but you can't blame the bike for that. I highly recommend this bike.

i cant tell you how much this bike changed my love for rideing. as hard as that is to believe. i cant seem to get off this bike. when i strap into the peddals it becomes part of me. its like avatar and stuff. lol. and for the price believe me when you buy a similar bike online ie.. sug ret price 4000 buy now for 1500. its not worth it. believe me... i know a guy that got one he road it for a week. it broke. now hes out 1500 with no warranty. and a bike not worth fixing. i have the protection plan. its worth every penny. i paid i think 230 for 5 yrs. fully covered. man that really takes the financial burden for wrecking. it seems to allow me to push alittle harder. not that i fall alot.
