2014 Trek Allant 7 WSD - Women's

Potholes, taxis, trucks, busy paths, nothing stands in the way of Trek's Allant WSD. It's ready to roll any time with its lightweight aluminum frame and fast 700c wheels with puncture-resistant tires. Let's say you don't live in the city, you just want to roll around the neighborhood or cruise the bike path. No problem, the upright riding position and stable ride means transcendent comfort and excellent handling that makes it easy to navigate anywhere, town or country. Plus, the Shimano 7-speed drivetrain offers easy pedaling, while the powerful linear-pull brakes offer excellent stopping power. You even get fenders so you can ride in comfort in all weather conditions.

I was given this bike as a birthday gift so I could ride to work and go for family rides on weekends. After several years of not riding, it is a joy to get on this bike. It rides well, has enough gears to handle the urban jungle (including steep Vancouver hills), and offers a comfortable commute. And it has classic style without being over the top. Just a really lovely bike in the price point we were looking for -- with Trek reliability. I added a pannier rack and a "market pannier" which goes from bike to shoulder bag to grocery shopping. A perfect bike for me.

      About Me

Bought this bike and hit the road almost everyday. Yes, love it. I am not very good and learn as an adult so can't tell a super deluxe bike to a cheapy one. This bike is awesome for someone like me who is new and timid, very forgiven. Once comfortable this bike will allow me to speed on the bike trails. Going much faster already, been a week. Watch out guys with the spandex on!!!

It was no better to ride than my beach bike which has only one speed and is heavy thought I was making a big step up with this bike is about the same in performance for 3 times the cost.
