I bought this bike in the spring of 2011 and have put over 4,000 miles on it. When choosing the bike, the gentleman at the bike shop had me ride several different brands & sizes. This protocolar one fit me the best. I like to ride TOSRV (220 miles in 2 days) and I love every moment on it!

I bought this bike to ride with my husband. It is my first 'real' bike and I love it. I had to change out the saddle because all women's butts are not the same. I replaced it with a Bontrager WSD saddle of a slightly different width. That did the trick, my butt feels great! Now if I could only keep up with my husband on his Madone....

I am riding 15 to 20 miles a day working up to 50 and I find the bike to be easy to ride, gears easy to learn to use and all around so happy with my choice!!

It rides very smoothly. Love the comfortable sitting position. Changing gears couldn't be easier. Only minor detail... if making a must sharp turn. Feet do tap the tire. Other than that, I'm very satisfied to have chosen a Trek. After not riding in over a decade. I test rode several models/names and kept choosing Trek blindly. My Lexa SL fit me like a glove!!! Now I'm adding miles to my new girl!! *lol*

                    Comments:

After some research I decided to go with the Trek Lexa for my first road bike! I am training for a tri-sprint (First time ever) and this is the bike I am going to race with. It's fast and easy to maneuver, gears are good (take a little bit to get them to stick though) and brakes are tight. The only thing that really is tough for me is the saddle. Man is it uncomfortable. As a muscular lady with a decent sized bum, I really suffer on this seat. I am going to put a true woman's seat on here myself. Overall, I really like it, except for the seat issues.

Dreamy! Like riding on a cloudy. Bought mine in 2011 and two of my friends have purchased the Lexa since seeing and test-riding mine. Great for long rides and short. I commute to work now and save around $50+/mo plus parking fees, so the price tag was less of an obstacle when you look at the cost over time. Happy riding!
