This bike will do whatever you want it to do,as long as you are capable doing what you are trying to do. Could not ask for a better bike at this price. It's a great bike, rides almost the same as a Fuel 9.

The main problems I've had with this bike is the hydraulic brakes get air in the lines and have to be bled at the shop for $20 and the rear derailleur needs periodic adjusting as it will skip gears when shifting from low to high. Other than that this is a well made rugged bike that has taken some serious abuse and keeps on keeping on. Despite earlier concerns I highly recommend this bike.

I previously owned a Novara Method 2.0. It was heavy and slow compared to the Fuel. I was constantly fighting the derailleurs on the Method but have had the Fuel for 2 years & it's only been in the shop once (besides the 30 day check) for an adjustment. The Fuel is a fun quick all mountain bike that handles well.
